Healthy eat Breakfast

The majority of us hit the snooze button couple of times and then rush to get ready for work and fly out the door without thinking of breakfast. However, it is by far the most important meal of the day and kick starts your metabolism burning calories rather than storing them, keeping you full until lunch. Here are some healthy breakfast options to keep the hunger pangs away, your concentration levels up and restore your energy levels for those who are on the go.

Scrambled egg on whole meal toast is a delicious start to the day. It will replenish the energy stores which have decreased during the night. The complex carbohydrates from the toast and the protein in the eggs are essential in the brain, encouraging better neurtransmitter function and alertness.
A bagel with low-fat cream cheese and smoked salmon or fish slide's is a great way to start the day, giving you plenty of energy and fuel for the body and brain. The bagel will keep you full and the omega-3 fatty acids from the salmon or fish slide's is essential for brain function and heart health.
Cereal, yoghurt,  fruits, and berries can be combined for a quick meal to make which gives you plenty of vitamins, calcium and slow digesting carbohydrates which release energy over a long period to keep you fuller for longer. Aim for muesli, natural yogurt and berries for a healthy options for those in a hurry.
If you find that you are usually hungry again mid-morning, try brown rice and a dash of soy sauce. The fibre and carbohydrates from this will be metabolised a lot slower, keeping you fuller longer and releasing energy over time. Add lean skinless chicken for added protein.
A smoothie is another option for those on the go. Add yoghurt, berries, nuts, fruit or vegetables for a delicious, nutritious and filling drink. Add a banana for extra fibre and energy and flax seed for added protein. This is also perfect if you work out before you head to the office.
If the reason you skip breakfast is because you're not a fan in general of breakfast foods, then fear not, because even a slice of left over pizza is better for you than nothing. It will make a great morning meal and the more vegetables and things on it the better as long as it isn't processed ham or salami. Total calories will be around 400 which is what you should aim for every breakfast.
Whole wheat pitta bread with lean turkey or chicken, avocado, slide tomato, and spinach is a delicious and appetising breakfast option. You may feel this is something you'd rather have for lunch but it is a hearty option, full of essential nutrition that will certainly keep you going until lunch. Aim to have your biggest meal in the morning, especially if you're trying to lose weight.

Have a Nice Day...
